The boys from Fractured Mirror - Rex, Bill & MikeHey fans and friends! Another year, another Expo! Held again at the "Crowne Plaza" in Seacaucus, NJ we set out that morning with our Jeep loaded up with Kiss and Ace goodies. My progress on the book has been slow this year, mostly due to my layout guy not having time for me.

As of the Expo, I still had about 8 pages and some corrections to do. I thought that I would offer, to Expo goers only, the chance to put down a 20.00 deposit for the book, and in return, get a free set of the Ace prints I offer. I took a lot of print outs of my pages, as well as the front and back cover, and hoped to generate some pre - print capital. I also took the new Fractured Mirror double dvd set to sell as well, along with a little display case of some rare items.

We got there about 10, and there was Mike Breden, waiting to help unload. (Mike's the original guitarist from when we started the band.) It's always great to see the people you know again, year after year we are here for the fans and for ourselves, and it's nice to have made some friends over the years. I like to get everything set up, and then go look around and see what's for sale. We set up between Richie Ranno's table, and Cathy St. George (who was very sweet and was a lot of fun to hang out and chat with!) Before you know it 12:00 has arrived and people were coming in. I had gone out and got a picture of the first people on line. Hey, they're dedicated! Again, I really enjoy saying HI to everyone, talking about collecting or guitars or answering some Ace question. A lot of cool and interesting people come out. Luckily, there was interest in my book and the new dvd, so that kept me busy.

Bob Pena was the first one to put down a deposit, so he's getting book #1. Thanks Bob, you rule! I also see some of my guitar customers there, as most guitar players I meet are usually Kiss fans, at least that's my opinion. (I repair guitars for a living - in case you didn't know that! Refrets a specialty!) I also did an interview with a cable tv show called NY ROCKS TV, and that was fun. It's on google video. Cathy had admired my wife's jewelry and liked my jeans, so we spent some time talking and sharing shopping info, while Mike mooched the rest of her dinner. How cute, they were sharing a meal! Rex and his girlfriend came out that day, and I also saw one time band member John Fox who I hadn't seen in years. (He's on one song on the dvd, it was his only show with us.)

Bill Baker & RIchie RannoLater in the day I got to see Richie Ranno's band STARZ for the first time. It was very cool and they ROCK! Bruce Kulick (no one has tattoo's....) jammed with them too and I got some pictures of that. After watching that, I returned to my table to hear how I had missed a woman at the next table had to be taken away by ambulance as she had experienced some kind of seizure. Well, we continnued to hang out and have fun and the hours passed. We didn't stay to see the Kiss tribute band, as it was pretty late, and we had drank enough beer (Mike and I), and we were hungry too.

So we called it a day, packed up and headed home. Another fun, and it was a lot of fun this year, ......maybe because it was smaller? I don't know. But another great time with a bunch of friends that because of KISS, have connected us to hang out.

Thank you Richie for the event!
