FANS! Ace Frehley - The Ultimate Fan Scrapbook has
finally arrived! The books arrived Tuesday, Oct 21st.
Yes, I'm no longer "the boy who cried wolf".
(for years I've been saying "I'm going to put
out this Ace Book"....) It's all true! I had
taken some pre-orders at the NY Kiss Expo while I
was almost done, and showed off my first printed preview
copies in Baltimore and got some orders. Those lucky
people got theirs first. But they are NOW
FINALLY AVAILABLE! Ace got his copy of the book: and this is how
it went down:
In
a nutshell, on Friday night at the convention I talked
to a friend I've known for years that works with both
Lita Ford and Ace, and with Ed Trunk who I've known
for years. They both looked through and loved the
book. I told them that I would like to present Ace
with a copy, and just say hello. Well, on Saturday,
Oct 25th I was cut into the line, (sorry to those
on line waiting 2+ hours...) but as soon as Ace saw
me, he said "Bill!" and we hugged like old
friends. I told him that "I made this book for
our friendship, for you, and for the fans." He
looked through it and said "Wow, it's really
good!" I told him "I wanted to put out something
positive about you, no dirt or anything personal,
you deserve it." He stopped at a few pictures
here and there. I then said, "Well, you've got
to sign one to me." He did, and then we got some
pictures together. With everyone waiting on line,
we both knew that any real conversation would have
to wait for another time. I actually ran into him
2 more times that weekend. I think we were both glad
to see each other. I know I was. It's really made
me feel better about everything.
I'm glad I have this site. I'm glad I put together
this book for you, the fans. I'm proud of it and it's
NOW FINALLY AVAILABLE!!!!
Because I put so much into it, I'll take the extra
time to sign and number each one! Only 2000 copies
were printed!
